Introducing Tropical Botanica - A project 3 years in the making

In 2019, we were approached by the retail team managing the Singapore Pavilion at the Expo2020 Dubai to create a range of perfumed candles for them. It was a project that was so close to my heart, to create a series of scents inspired by Singapore while staying true to the essence of Candles of Light. I was pregnant then and poured my heart and being into creating 3 bespoke scents. Scents I felt were reflective of modern and contemporary Singapore from childhood to present day.

Guess what happened barely a year later? The pandemic. I had my baby; and with much grace, all of us thankfully managed to thrive. However the World Expo project was delayed by a year. In 2021, the Expo2020 Dubai launched in mid-October. Within a few weeks of opening, the entire range we created was sold out.

With a successful run at the Expo, we now bring these scents back to Singapore where they really belong. Introducing Tropical Botanica, our newest baby 3 years in the making. And its no coincidence we've chosen to launch them in August. You can purchase them individually or in a bundle of all 3 candles.
